Arwin (aka Whinny!)
Gateway Farms rescued Whinny from an abusive owner. With lots of love and TLC, her love for people is adorable to experience first hand. She has a special fondness for children and hopes you will come to see her soon!
Chrystall, better known as Blanche, is a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare. She arrived at Gateway Farms three years ago after having been on the Grand Prix jumper circuit in Europe, the U.S. and Canada. Well-travelled, Blanche enjoys her forever home with us. She is loving, patient and has flourished in our EAL program.
Don't let his size intimidate you, this big boy is truly a kind and gentle soul! Sailor is a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding and a show circuit veteran, with tours in Europe, the U.S. and Canada. The newest addition to the Gateway herd, he's shown us that great teachers come in all sizes.
Nikki is a 10-year-old purebred Canadian Horse, Canada's National Horse. Nikki loves his people, and treats! He is a laid back guy, but like most Canadians, he can be a bit stubborn if you don't let him get "his" way. Nikki has a great sense of humour and always puts a smile on our faces. Nikki competes in the sport of Eventing.
You wouldn't know it, but this British Sport Pony is 18 years young. Gunner comes to us via British Columbia and Las Vegas! Gunner is a multiple Trillium Champion and has taught many kids how to ride. He is enjoying his semi-retirement and looks forward to teaching you what he knows.
Striker is a 10-year-old Off Track Thoroughbred retired racehorse. Being new at the EAL game, Striker has shown us that he loves his new job.
